Objectives

This module represents the final step in bringing an issue to publication. Here we’ll look at how the editor completes the publishing process by arranging the table of contents and releasing the issue. We’ll also see how the editor can announce a new issue’s publication to readers.

At this point you may be curious about how to increase your published journal’s visibility through tools like indexing, email lists, and blogs. You can learn more about journal promotion in the course “Becoming an Editor.”
