Course Instructor

Welcome to Becoming an Editor! If you feel comfortable doing so, please post a brief description of yourself in the comment box below. If not, that’s OK — its not a requirement.

My name is Kevin Stranack, and I have been working on community education for the Public Knowledge Project since 2005.

My specialization is adult education, and I received my Master of Adult Education from the University of Regina in 2013. I’m also a librarian, and received my Master of Library and Information Studies from the University of British Columbia in 2002. I have worked as a reference, instructional, and systems librarian at a variety of public and academic libraries, including at Simon Fraser University, the development home of OJS and the Public Knowledge Project.

Please feel free to contact me via email (kstranac@sfu.ca) or skype (kstranack) at anytime during the course with any questions or concerns that come up.

I’m looking forward to working with you!
