The course consists of several modules, each with its own learning objective, video, readings, activity, and discussion opportunity.

Although self-paced, online courses are often solitary activities, we believe that the most effective learning is social. To help with this, we have built discussion sections into the bottom of each module page. Please add your thoughts and experiences here, and post supportive, constructive replies to the comments of your co-students. Also look for opportunities to discuss what you are learning and thinking about with your co-workers, supervisors, colleagues, friends, and family. Share with them your enthusiasm for what you are learning and let them know how it will change your practice. Doing this will significantly enrich the learning you take away from this course.

We very much welcome any feedback you have about your experience with the course, and plan to continue modifying it as more people work through it.
